How to log in (Web)

  1. Open your browser and go to the official OANDA website (look for the secure https:// URL).
  2. Click the Log In or Sign In button at the top-right of the homepage.
  3. Enter your registered email address and password, then click Sign In.
  4. If you use Multi-Factor Authentication, follow the prompt to enter the verification code from your authentication app or SMS.
Tip: Use a password manager to store complex passwords and avoid reusing passwords across services.

How to log in (Mobile)

  1. Download the official OANDA Trade app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app, tap Sign In, and enter your email and password.
  3. Approve any 2FA requests or enter the one-time code if required.

Troubleshooting login issues

  • Incorrect password: Use the Forgot password link to reset. Check your spam folder for reset emails.
  • Account locked: Multiple failed attempts can temporarily lock access. Wait a short time and try again or contact OANDA support.
  • 2FA problems: If your authentication app or SMS codes aren’t working, use your backup codes or follow the account recovery steps below.
  • Browser/App errors: Clear cache, update the app, or try another browser. Disable extensions that might block scripts (ad-blockers).

To recover your account, choose the Forgot password option and follow the emailed instructions.
